How to Insert an Image into a Homepage Article

To insert a NEW image into one of your homepage articles:

Uploading a new image
  1. Log-in to SchemeServe.
  2. Return to your Homepage by clicking 'My Homepage'.
  3. Browse to the article you wish to edit on the homepage.
  4. Click the 'Edit' button (top right).
  5. Click the 'Insert/Edit Image' button (yellow background with two mountains and a sun).
  6. Click the 'Upload' tab.
  7. Click the 'Choose File' button to select an image from one of your drives.
  8. Click 'Send it to the Server', then, when it's finished uploading click 'OK'.
  9. Click 'OK' again to close the 'Image Properties' box.
  10. Your image has been inserted into the selected Homepage Article.
  11. Make sure you click 'Save' at the end to save your homepage article.


To insert an EXISTING (i.e. previously uploaded) image into one of your homepage articles:

Choosing an existing image to insert
  1. Log-in to SchemeServe.
  2. Return to your Homepage by clicking 'My Homepage'.
  3. Browse to the article you wish to edit on the homepage.
  4. Click the 'Edit' button (top right).
  5. Click the 'Insert/Edit Image' button (yellow background with two mountains and a sun).
  6. Click 'Browse Server', then click on the folder you'd like to browse.
  7. Click the image you wish to use.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Make sure you click 'Save' at the end to save your homepage article.
